The search for the matching beads

I have mentioned a few times before that I was taking part in a Bead Soup blog party, but things got a little tricky with my parcel arriving from Canada. My partner suggested an idea which was totally above and beyond the call of duty - instead of sending me the actual beads, she would send me out on a hunt with a budget to match what she had tried to send {hers below right}. And so the hunting began...and I think I came out quite alright! {mine below left}
